This project is located on a spectacular site overlooking the San Francisco Bay. A new master suite and spa bath were connected to a modest mid-century house by a covered bridge. Tall ceilings and generous glazing create luminous interiors within the wooded site. Ever-present views of water and trees bring nature and architecture together. Dark-stained cedar siding reveals the beauty of wood at home in the surrounding forest.
